The West Side club is a meeting place for members of Alcoholics Anonymous.  However, the Westside Club is a completely separate operating entity from Alcoholics Anonymous

The Mission of the Westside Club:

To render, by charitable and educational means, and without profit to the club, assistance to group committees, fundraisers or organizations of any kind which are devoted to achieving and maintaining abstinence from the use of alcohol by persons accustomed to excessive use.Without limiting the foregoing, the specific purpose of the club is to support and maintain a club devoted to educational, recreational and social purposes for members of Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, and Alateen.

About Us:

The Club is entirely independent from AA, ALANON or Alateen. We do, however, support a clean and sober environment wherein such groups may rent space for their meetings.  The Club thus provides a service to the local area recovery community. The Club exists to provide service to its membership and the local community in the area of recovery from alcoholism.  The Club provides a physically and emotionally safe environment to its members and all those using the facilities. The Club offers recreational, social, educational, and recovery opportunities to its guests.  It is governed by a member-elected Board of Directors. It has a set of by-laws which govern its functions. The Club operates its business affairs in a professional and responsible manner at all times.  Many of the Club's day-to-day operations are performed by volunteers.
